Cheese Curd Jalapeno Poppers

‘Tis the season of festive meals and gathering around the table with friends and family to enjoy. We’ve got an easy cheesy recipe pairing that’s sure to warm you up!

  1. Prep the peppers: Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the seeds and ribs, leaving the core intact.
  2. Fill with cheese: Place cheese curds in jalapeno halves.
  3. Wrap in bacon: Wrap each jalapeno half with a half-slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.  
  4. Bake: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the wrapped peppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted.  
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy hot!

Tips:

For extra flavor, you can add chopped green onions or garlic to the cheese curds. If you want more heat, leave the seeds and ribs in the jalapenos. For a smokier flavor, try grilling the poppers instead of baking them. Enjoy your spicy, cheese-tastic, bacon-wrapped treat!
