Try this delicious, super simple and easy, chocolate moo-usse! Get creative and switch out the vanilla for something like mint, or try mix in your favorite berry preserves!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 large egg yolk, lightly beaten
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Morning Fresh cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Optional: Berry preserves, fresh peaches, roasted pecans or anything else you’d like to mix in with your moo-usse!
Directions
- Step 1
- In a small saucepan, melt chocolate chips with water
- Step 2
- Stir until smooth.
- Step 3
- Stir a small amount of hot chocolate mixture into egg yolk; return all to the pan, stirring constantly.
- Step 4
- Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Step 5
- Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla.
- Step 6
- Quickly transfer to a small bowl. Stir occasionally until completely cooled.
